I want to thank the over 1,200 subscribers from all over the world who made 2023 a great year for this devotional blog! Last year the number of views and visitors had more than doubled from the year before to over 420,000 views and over 282,000 visitors. This blog was started in 2014 and only had 1,641 views total then. This shows how high it has grown in ten years!
That is really amazing! I want to give God all the glory and praise for those high numbers. It is nothing that I have done. Each time I write a blog post, I pray that God gives me the words to speak that someone, somewhere in the world needs to hear. My prayer is that each post will touch someone’s heart and draw that person closer to God.
Over the past year I have also had a number of followers who have reposted some of my posts onto their blog sites. This helps to get God’s word out to more and more people. Since the internet knows no political or religious boundaries, I know that this devotional is reaching into countries that are also against Christianity and touching hearts there.
Every so often I get people who write a note on the site or send a private email telling me how a devotional touched their lives. If you have not done this, I encourage you to do so. This helps encourage me and lets me know how God is working in the lives of some of my readers.
I am praying on how to continue to make this devotional site bigger and better to reach more and more. I am also in the process of writing a devotional book that can be purchased and given as a gift or used personally.
As you read my devotional, do not forget to take time and read the entire chapter, and even the book, that the verse I use comes from. I encourage you to read and study your Bible for yourself each and every day. I am not the final word on His Word. God can show you more than what I can write as you read His whole Word.
