About

My name is Tom. I am happily married for 34 years to my wonderful wife Cammie. I am blessed by God with eight great children. Currently have seven grandchildren and one granddaughter in heaven, and two more grandchildren on the way.

In the past I have worked as a children’s pastor, senior pastor, and many times (and currently) as a Sunday School Teacher and Disciples for Christ Men’s Ministry Leader in our church. I have a General Ministries degree with a Bible College. I started doing a short devotional type of Bible study on Facebook in 2014. I am going through the books of the Bible chapter by chapter, section by section. I write what I feel God is placing on my heart at the time concerning a verse or two in each section.

As I read other books, I also leave a short review of those books. At times I also feel led by God to write a story about what He is doing in my life. There are also a few studies that I have done on various subjects such as: the fruit of the Spirit and marriage.

Seven days a week I do a daily devotional and a verse of the day. Every Monday I do a prayer for a nation. Every Tuesday I do a Christian quote. Every Wednesday I do a promise of God verse. Every Friday I do a memory verse. If there is a time when one of these things is missing, it is most likely at a time when I am traveling and unable to get online.

Thank you for visiting this site. May God richly bless you and make you more like Jesus every day and draw you closer to Him every day as you read this blog.

  2. Tom, I just now ran across your website and was attracted to your comments regarding Joel’s Valley of decision. You and I are in the minority regarding that piece of scripture as few (if any) others see personal decision being a part of it. Late last year I put my thoughts down and, if interested, you can download them at: https://www.keepandshare.com/doc18/28155/valleyofdecision-pdf-62k?dn=y . Just copy and paste into your search browser.
Thanks for your messages. Dave Mohler Feb. 6, 2024.
