Deuteronomy 32:3-4 The Greatness Of God

I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. Deuteronomy 32:3-4

Moses had just announced that he was about to die and that Joshua was to become the leader of the people after him. He now begins to proclaim some blessings on each of the twelve tribes of Israel. He starts out with praising God as a perfect God who does no wrong at all.

In this world there are many things that change. Change is the one thing that a person can seem to count on. If you do not like the way things are, just wait a little while and it will change. Someone new will come in or someone will leave and make a change.

Government leaders change and bring with them different changes in how to run things. Businesses rise and fall all the time. The latest fashions change. The best run items change.

Yet, in spite of all the changes in this world, God does not change. He is perfect at all times in everything He does. He never makes a mistake.

Through Jesus, God had provided the perfect plan for salvation for every person.

He is described as a Rock. A rock is solid and does not change. It has a firm foundation that can be stood upon.

With God being a perfect rock, it makes Him all the more great! You can stand upon the promises of God and know that He will fulfill every one of them. You can trust that He will provide for your every need.

You can trust that when you ask Jesus for forgiveness, you have been forgiven.

You can know that Jesus will return some day.

In all of this, give God praise! Praise the greatness of God!

What more could you ask for in God?

I pray today that you will know the greatness of God; that you will trust in God; that you will know and trust His promises to you; that you will stand on Jesus alone; and that you will praise God for His greatness.
