Pray for Algeria
Algeria is a nation that has gone through extreme amounts of abuse from exploitation and civil wars that have killed over 100,000 people. Everyone is familiar with violence and loss. Many want the wars and violence to end, but it appears to be just a dream that never occurs.
Human rights abuse abounds throughout the land. Victims are often more harshly treated with than those committing the abuse.
Persecution against Christian believers has continued to increase. This persecution comes from both the government and families. Christian girls are often forced to marry Muslim men. Those who are believers are often very bold in their belief. However, many believers are unable to get a job because of their following of Christ.
Using radio and satellite internet, the gospel message is reaching people inside the nation. Unity among the various Christian groups must be allowed in order for the church to continue to grow.
