Romans 11:33 The Greatness Of God’s Wisdom and Knowledge

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! Romans 11:33

Over the years people have honored certain wise men or men of great knowledge. Most people are of average knowledge or wisdom that does not go very far.

It amazes people when someone is able to show great wisdom in certain situations in life and make the right judgment calls. Not everyone can understand how men or women come to such great wisdom or knowledge, because it is very rare to see.

Paul quotes from Isaiah 40:13, when he talks about how deep are the riches of God’s wisdom and knowledge. He points out that no one can really search all of God’s judgments or paths and fully understand them.

Just looking at nature, one can begin to see just a small glimpse of how great God’s wisdom is. For someone to create the earth and all that is, in the complex structure that it is, shows extreme high level of wisdom and knowledge.

The complexity of just one human cell is mind boggling to the best of scientists. Then to realize that they are multiplied billions of times over in just one human, than again in billions of more people, not to mention animals and plants. Yet, God works all of them together.

If God can do this with creation, what can he do with the path of one who believes in Him and trusts Him?

God has perfect wisdom and knowledge to lead His people correctly. He did the perfect plan to provide salvation for humans when they sinned against Him and deserved death.

As a believer sits back and realizes what God has already done, he will be amazed at the depth of God’s wisdom and knowledge.

Just as God is at work in all of creation, He is at work in your life. The same wisdom and knowledge He used to create the heavens and the earth, He is using to guide your life on the best path possible.

Take a moment to realize how great and wonderful is God’s wisdom and knowledge. Then trust Him as He guides you through life on this planet.

You may not always understand what God is doing or why He is leading you a certain way, but you can always know that it is always for your best interest.

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Savior; that you will trust God’s wisdom and knowledge as He leads you; that you will allow God to guide your every step and action; and that you will be amazed at God’s wisdom being used in your life.
