Pray for Cameroon
Cameroon is a smaller nation that is deeply divided between Christianity, Islam and traditional religions. Islam in the northern part of the nation continually bring threats to peace.
Spiritual poverty has risen greatly in many churches with the increased rise of liberalism. Mixing traditional religions with Christianity has become a common accepted practice, lowering the impact of Christianity throughout the land. Many churches have also lost all interest in reaching the lost Islamic people in the northern regions.
People are needing training to be leaders in the churches. Due to lack of oversight, many leaders in the church are accused of just going after the people’s money.
Lack of a bible in the language of the people and lack of literacy makes the Bible unavailable for many. Work is in progress to get the bible translated into all of the languages of the people. There is a need for people to learn how to read to be able to read the Bible.
