Moldova is a nation that is split within itself. Part of it runs very differently than the rest of the nation. This causes the nation to be very unstable.
Organized crime and smuggling are common throughout the nation, creating a lot of poverty. People often seek employment outside of the country. Many women are lured into human trafficking outside of the country to seek a better life.
The Catholic church has had a large influence upon the people, but has kept them from evangelizing others. Poverty levels have caused many pastors to leave the country to seek better employment or pay. Churches often close due to lack of funds. Training of new leaders is difficult with the lack of funds being available.
