Pray For Ghana
Ghana is a nation that has a rich Christian heritage. Freedom to be Christian has been a part of the nation’s history. Churches have flourished and many new churches are being planted on a regular basis.
However, with churches being planted so quickly, doctrinal belief can become very confusing. Many churches have begun to hold to doctrines that are not Biblical. And even though churches are being planted and many claim to be Christian, very few actually attend church on a regular weekly basis.
In the smaller villages, Islam tends to be the dominant belief among the people. It is slowly growing across the nation, even though there are Muslims who are turning to Jesus all the time.
Another challenge that Ghana has is the number of orphaned children. Just in the Accra area there are an estimated 60,000 orphaned children.
Points to pray for Ghana:
Trained leadership for the new churches
Solid Biblical doctrinal belief for the churches
Homes and food for the orphaned children
Muslims to get a vision of Jesus
Commitment to be a true believer
