A Warning

This book was originally published with the author listed as being “anonymous.” In 2020, the author, Miles Taylor, revealed that he was the author of the book. Miles was a member of President Donald Trump’s first administration. He wrote the book during President Trump’s first term in office as President of the United States. He had chosen to write as ‘anonymous’ out of fear of retribution and he did not want to make a name for himself. He wanted no credit at that time for the writing.

In this book he takes a look at President Trump as a person and president and gives a sharp critique of him. He begins by looking at the Roman Empire and what brought about its collapse. Then he takes a look at what makes up the character of a good leader from ancient Greek descriptions of a good leader.

Throughout the book, Miles shows how President Trump did not line up with good character traits. He shows, with references, as to where President Trump had lied many times, or went back on his word about some situation or another. He also points out how President Trump would get very friendly with harsh dictators around the world, while trashing friendly leaders. President Trump would very quickly remove anyone who got in his way or did not see his way of doing things.

According to the writer, President Trump would very quickly make a decision without reviewing all of the details of the situation. Supposedly, many in his administration did not like the president, but were afraid to stand up against him. The writer, though a Republican, felt that President Trump would lead to the downfall of America.

This book was very interesting to read and was an easy read. If you are interested in learning someone’s personal view inside of President Trump’s first administration, I would recommend reading it.

The next paragraph I write as my own personal opinion. I do not write it and leave it up for open debate on this site, it is only to share my views. If you want to discuss it, you can email me personally. Any harsh comments made on the site will be removed. Thank you for understanding.

Personally, I voted for President Trump, both the first time and the second time. I can see many of the faults that the writer talks about in President Trump. While I see those faults, I still stand by my vote. I did not see the leadership capabilities in the other Republicans running for office either time to get my vote for them. I also would rather see President Trump in office, with all of his character faults, making choices that I feel lead our nation in the direction God would lead, than to see someone in office who will directly lead against God and His word.
