Isaiah 53:1 Do You Believe?

Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? Isaiah 53:1

Scattered all across the internet are every type of news article, commentary and methods to make money one could possibly imagine. While many may be legitimate and true, there are also many that are false. Often many are too good to be true type of articles and people are very skeptical about whether to believe that they are true or not. As a result, it is common for people to question what they see or read and do not believe, they only believe what they can physically see.

Isaiah asks who has believed the report and who has seen the arm of the Lord at work.

From the beginning in the Garden of Eden, Satan has used deception to deceive people into believing lies. Bad has been made to look good, while good has been made to look bad. Everything is now questioned, and very little truth is believed.

God has sent out a report of who Jesus is and what He has done and what He is doing. As Jesus walked on the earth, people had begun to question who He really was. Some would believe, while many did not believe. They could not fully see who Jesus was, but only saw Him as just another man walking on the earth. Times have not changed anything.

Every year there are news articles about who Jesus really was during Easter and Christmas time. The world does not want to believe who Jesus is. Believers speak about Jesus and give the report of who Jesus is and what He has done, yet many refuse to believe.

Instead of rejecting the good news, true believers have embraced it. They have seen God’s hand at work and believe it with their spiritual eyes.

There are reports and articles you have heard or seen that you do not believe for some reason or another. When you hear of Jesus and what God is doing, you have to make a choice as to whether you believe or not. God wants you live by faith, believing in what cannot be physically seen.

Believe that Jesus lived, died and rose again to give you life. Believe that Jesus will remove all of your sins. Believe that God wants to work in your life. Do you believe the report?

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will see what God is doing in and around your life; that you will share with the world who Jesus is; and that God will reveal Himself to you in new ways.
