All over the world there is a lot of chaos occurring, wars and violence, sickness and death. Fear of death is common, and people are seeking answers to overcome that fear and to stop the death and chaos. Politicians and scientists are claiming to have the answers to the problems, only to bring on more problems. Very few religions even attempt to claim to have the true answer to the chaos occurring in the world.
Isaiah quotes God in telling the people to look to Him and be saved from all over the earth, because He is God and that there is no other God.
The world tries to claim that they know the answers to all of the chaos occurring. Blame is often put on global warming, pollution, too many people, guns, too many religious beliefs, and many other reasons. People and nations look to governments to make rules to change the chaos and death.
Making rules to clean up the earth and stop violence is only a temporary band aid that only covers up the real problem. Below the surface, the real problem is sin. As long as there is sin being done, there will be chaos and death. No person is able to overcome sin and remove the penalty of sin on one’s own abilities.
Instead of looking to the world for salvation, every person needs to seek God. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ and no other. There is no other name under heaven or on earth in which one can be saved from the coming destruction, chaos and death. Only those who put their belief and faith in Jesus Christ will be saved, all others will face eternal death and punishment.
The world is quick to show you all the problems that are occurring and offer solutions. Some of these solutions may be good for short term solutions, but none will stop the true chaos and death that is occurring that will last for eternity. Only Jesus Christ can bring about true salvation in the end. All other will only bring about death. Instead of looking to the world for salvation, put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and be saved, for there is no other. Who are you looking to for salvation?
Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will know Jesus is the only way to salvation; that you will look to God for all of your needs; and that you will point others to God.
