Do not fear, nor be afraid; have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are my witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one. Isaiah 44:8
Information is available around the clock about everything and anything. Some of the information is true, while many things are false. Sorting through what is true and false is nearly an impossible task with the amount of information available on the internet. Thus, fear and confusion run rampant among people all over the world not knowing what is true or false.
Isaiah quotes God telling them to not be afraid because He has already told them and declared what was going to happen. They are to be His witnesses that He is God and there is no other and that He is the only Rock.
The world is attempting to say that there is no solid rock foundation on which life needs to be based upon. Anything that one thinks or feels is acceptable for a rock foundation for that person. What one may think is truth today, can be considered false tomorrow and the same way the other way around.
Truth is often hidden behind the lies and deception of the world causing many to be afraid and live in fear.
Believers are not to be afraid or fear what the world fears. God is their solid Rock foundation. God’s word stands solid and true throughout all history and never changes with one’s feelings or culture. The path to salvation into heaven has always been the same and will never change.
As believers know and believe these truths of God, they are to be His witnesses. They are to speak the solid truth that there is only one way to God, only one Truth, only one God, only one Rock.
You can look around you and see the fear and confusion the world has about what is true and what is false. The world is out to deceive you into believing lies and to build your life upon a false foundation. Make God your only Rock on which you build your life. Know that it is He who is in control and no other. There is no truth outside of God and His word. As you see and know this, do not be afraid or fear what the world does and let the world know the truth about God.
Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will know God is a solid rock foundation; that you will build your life upon the truth of God and His word; that God will help you remove all fear in your life; and that you will be His witness to the world.
