Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart, Psalm 15:1-2
David asks the question of who can dwell or live where God lives. Throughout this psalm, David lists different things that is required of the person who lives where God is. The first part sums it up in that the person must be blameless, and righteous. The rest of the verses give direct examples of what that means.
All over the world there are people who are asking this same question that David asked. They want to know how they can live where God lives, how they can dwell in His presence. Depending on which belief the person is a part of will determine how they can be in their god’s presence. The only people who do not ask that question, are those who do not believe in any type of god at all.
Any believer who asks these questions, must first realize that every person is guilty of sin, and cannot be considered blameless or righteous. This creates a problem for every person on this earth. In yourself, you cannot dwell in God’s presence. God cannot allow sin in His presence and you are full of sin.
God knew this and had a plan before He even created the first man, Adam. This was the reason He sent His Son Jesus to this earth. Jesus had become sin so that you might become the righteousness of God. Jesus was righteous before God so that you may be righteous before God.
Jesus died and rose again, in order to take away your sin. He is willing to remove your sin so that you could stand boldly before God.
All that you must do is repent of your sins before God, and believe that Jesus did, in fact, die on the cross, rise again and will remove all of your sins. You must believe that Jesus did these things so that you may dwell in God’s place for all eternity.

I pray today that you will know what Jesus has done for you; that you will trust Jesus death and resurrection; that you will repent of all your sins; and that you will believe in the righteousness Jesus has provided for you.
