Revelation 15:4 Who Will Worship God

“Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” Revelation 15:4

In heaven all the people who had not given in to the beast and accepted his mark are now praising God. They see how great God is and how He rules with perfect justice.

After seeing all these things, they ask the question of who will not fear God and bring Him glory. The reason for fearing God and bringing Him glory is that He alone is holy. No person on earth has ever been holy in any way.

This verse states that all the nations will end up worshiping God because of His righteous acts. In this end time frame, what are the righteous acts that God has done?

They will look back to the death and resurrection of Jesus. God did not have to provide salvation for any person. No one deserves salvation, yet, God, a Holy Righteous God, gives it.

During the time frame that is being written in these verses, God is also pouring out His wrath upon sinful man. This also shows God’s holiness and righteousness. In the end God will not allow sin to go unpunished. He will not allow the persecution His servants have gone through to go without a vengeance.

Although the pouring out of God’s wrath, to some people, is not a very holy thing to do, it does reveal God’s holiness. God’s being holy means that He will not lie. Throughout the Bible God stated that He will punish sin. To remain truthful, God must punish that sin. He is holy.

In the end, every nation and person will see and know that God is holy. Every knee will bow down and worship Jesus at some point. This point is when they realize all that Jesus has done.

Today, look at your life and see all that Jesus has done for you. Do not overlook the mercy He has had on your life. Realize all the righteous acts God has performed in your life. In knowing all these things, give Him the worship that is due Him. Live your life for God in order to bring glory to His name. Do not live in sin and bring dishonor to God’s holy name.

I pray today that God will reveal His righteous acts to you; that God will give you a vision of His holiness; that you will worship God with everything in you; that you will bring glory to God in all that you do; and that you will be His witness to those you come in contact with.
