Genesis 1:31 All That God Does Is Good

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning–the sixth day. Genesis 1:31

Businesses and people are making things every day all around the world. New products of nearly everything imaginable are being created for people to use.

As these are being made, some come out very good and become popular. Other things are not so good to even horrible and fail at gaining the desire of the people. When things fail or are not so good, some will attempt to improve them, sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing in the end.

Genesis begins with God creating everything that is. As He finishes creating everything on the sixth day, He sees that everything is not just good, but very good.

The world tends to think that God made some mistakes. It is common to hear people say that God made a mistake or was cruel when a baby is born with a deformity. Or that He made a mistake in allowing a person to get sick or die.

God makes everything in perfection, but many people forget that man messes things up. It is because of man’s sin that sickness, pain, and death occur on a regular basis.

All the sin of man does not negate the perfection of God’s work. Everything that God does is very good. It is done with a focus of giving life, the best life to each and every person.

Some will choose to believe God and follow His path to eternal and perfect life. They will see the goodness of God’s choices and path for their lives and walk in it.

Many will choose to reject God, believing that they know a better way to life and in the end will only bring death and destruction.

Despite all of the challenges in your life, God loves you and wants only the best for you. Just as much as God is out to build you up, the world is out to destroy you and tear you down.

Rather than blaming God for what the world is doing, trust God and follow Him. Know that He will never do anything that is not very good in light of eternity. Things may be painful in the moment, but it is only a very short momentary second in the face of eternal life with God someday.

Know that all that God does is very good.

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will trust God’s work in your life; that you will see the goodness of all that God does; and that you will become more like Jesus every day.

Revelation 21:5 All Will Be Made New

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Revelation 21:5

Starting completely over is something that most people do not care to do. It means a complete turn over of the way everything is done. Most like to be able to make some small changes, but continue with the way things were.

There does come a time when starting over is the best thing to do. It gives a person or business a chance to do it better the second time.

John sees Jesus on the throne saying that He is going to make everything new. Heaven and earth are to be destroyed and made new again.

God has always been a work at making things to perfection. When man chose to sin, God immediately began to work on removing all sin and bringing everything back to perfection.

Since man has sinned, the world is filled with decay and death. Life is very limited upon the earth. Problems abound everywhere.

The new believer in Jesus is to become a new creation in Jesus, the old passing away and all becoming brand new. He is to no longer live a life of sin, filled with death and destruction. This is the beginning of all things becoming new.

When Jesus returns, He will destroy the heavens and the earth, because they are filled with the corruption of sin and death. God will not leave everything as destroyed.

Just as with the believer becoming new, God will also make a new heaven and a new earth. In heaven, the believer will also be made perfectly new with a new body, new mind, and new heart. Everything will be started over with perfection for all eternity. It is the hope that the believer can look forward to.

As you are going through your days, you will have many struggles and a lot of pain. It may feel as if the pain and suffering will never end.

Read what Jesus said, that He will make everything new. He will allow for a restart that is done in perfection. Jesus will complete the work that He has set out to do when He returns. Hold on to that hope and believe the words of Jesus, because everything He says is trustworthy and true.

In Jesus you have a bright hope for tomorrow.

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Savior; that you will know the hope you have in Jesus; that God will give you strength to continue to grow in Jesus; that God will make you a new creation; and that you will trust God’s word to you.
