Pray for Norway
Norway is a nation that has a strong Christian heritage. As it continues to have that strong heritage, many are beginning to believe that there are many ways to God. Throughout the country many believe that it does not matter what religion or god one believes in, one can still get to God.
Membership in churches is very high, but many do not attend on a regular basis and actual belief is even lower. It is just a matter of formality that many feel they must be a member of a church.
Islam has become the second largest religion in the nation and is steadily growing. Part of this is due to the high number of immigrants coming into the country.
In the northern parts of Norway, there are people who are nomads that do not really hold to the Christian beliefs. It is difficult for ministries to reach them with the gospel because of their constant moving around.
