Pray for New Zealand
New Zealand is a small island nation near Australia that for many years had been very strong in its Christian beliefs. Over the last decade there has been a sharp decline in Christianity with many claiming no religion at all. Nominal Christianity is becoming more normal, though some Christian groups are still growing with a strong belief system.
Cultural diversity has often set people apart and kept them from hearing the gospel message. One of those groups that is often missed are the Maori tribal people. Along with them are the many Asian immigrants that come to the nation seeking a new life. These are people that are coming from many nations that have very little Christian influence in them. This is an open door for the church to reach the world.
