Throughout the years, many of the countries in the Americas have shifted from a military government to more of a Democratic government, allowing for more freedom. The number of wars between the nations has dropped.
In South America, the Catholic church is very common. Among those in the Catholic church, many have had new encounters with God, changing their lives and bringing new life to them. Over the years, many different great evangelists have come out of the Americas to touch the world with the gospel message. Writers have written many books that encouraged and trained people all over the world. The Bible has been translated into hundreds of languages to be used around the world from people in the Americas.
Pentecostals have had the greatest impact among the Christians of the Americas. They represent 50% of the Pentecostals of the entire world, even though the Americas only represent about 14% of the world’s population.
Although Christianity has been spread, there has also been a negative influence of Hollywood that impacted the world against Christianity. Morality has dropped, allowing people to do whatever their hearts desire.
