Pray For Yemen
Prior to the Muslim conquest in the 7th century, Yemen had a very strong Christian presence in the nation. Since then, the presence of Christianity has dropped to less than 1%. Expatriates that have come into the nation were once allowed to serve God, but are no longer allowed that freedom. Christianity is nearly completely banned in the nation.
Yemen is a nation that is growing in younger population very rapidly. Yet, the children are not able to get a proper education. Many people cannot read or write at all. This limits being able to read and learn of God’s word in their lives. It also brings on a lot of poverty and hardships for families.
Missionaries are not allowed to enter the nation to spread the gospel. They must find ways to come in as workers and seek God for divine opportunities to tell people about Christ.
