Pray For Rwanda
In 1994, Rwanda went through a major genocide war. Over 800,000 people were killed in less than one year. Since then, Rwanda has grown very well. It has become one of the fastest growing economies in all of Africa.
With the rapid growth of population, however, many do not have enough land to live on. This brings on poverty at high levels among many families that cannot provide for themselves. It also brings on violence and crime trying to get land.
Last year the government cracked down on churches and required many new regulations for them to follow. Thousands of the smaller churches were unable to adapt quickly enough and had to close their doors. Islam is also rising in the nation, and many believers do not know how to reach them for Christ.
Points to pray:
Wisdom with the overcrowding
Reduction of crime
Direction in reaching Muslims for Christ
Churches to be reopened
Provision for the families
