When King Abdullah began to rule, it began with promise and hope that wars would end. Since then, the land has been ravaged with nearly constant wars and conflicts taking the lives of many people. Islamic attacks on Christians is a common sight to be seen throughout the land.
Although there are many different Christian organizations working in the land, the level of Muslims remains high who have never heard of Jesus. The few who have heard of Jesus and choose to follow Him, often face extreme persecution and violence.
The majority of the people in the land are Palestinians who are several generations removed from the homeland. They are filled with bitterness and hate because of what was done to their past ancestors.
There are also many Bedouin that are nomadic and have never heard of Jesus. Finding them has been difficult because they are constantly moving around.
