India has the highest population of people in the world. With that they also have the highest number of people groups of any nation. In the South and the Northeast areas, Christianity is more popular. However, in most of the nation there is very little to no Christian presence. India has the greatest number of unreached people groups of any nation.
Many different organizations are set up throughout India to reach the lost. Some churches have grown to mega huge size with the outreaches. Though they are growing, most are built with the extreme poor. The higher class citizens are often not being reached with the Gospel message.
One of the largest struggles India has is with blindness. Proper doctor and medicine care is unavailable. The use of Braille is rarely used, leaving many who are blind without being able to read the Bible if they are given one. Doctors and people who can train the people in proper physical care are needed.
Points to pray:
Reaching the unreached with the gospel message
Reaching the wealthy with the gospel
Medical care provided
Teaching reading
Churches planted in every people group area
