Pray For China
China has the largest population of people of any nation in the world. It has a history that expands several thousand years. Under government pressure to remain non-religious, people are often persecuted for any belief in any religious belief. Many are held captive to the vain beliefs in Daoism, Buddhism, Confucianism and the newer Falun Gong movement.
Although there is much persecution, many are turning to belief in Jesus. However, with many of the Christian families, they struggle to get discipled or to disciple their own families in what it means to be a believer. Children in the schools and college students are pushed very hard to be atheistic.
Millions of students and workers leave China and go to many places around the world. Many have become believers in their new nations, but very few return to China to be a witness.
Churches are in need of trained leaders to know how to lead the church in the ways of God. They need the boldness to stand strong and true to God and His word. Believers need courage and strength to withstand the pressure to be atheistic.
Points to pray:
Open doors to reach the lost
Training for leaders in the church
Strength for believers
Boldness for believers
Discipleship of new believers
