Switzerland is a land locked country that has a lot of the same social and spiritual issues that the nations surrounding them do. With the extreme low levels of birth rate, there is a high need for immigrants to come into the nation, something that they resisted for many years. Nearly 25% of the population are foreign born. As a result, this brings in a lot of the mindsets and ideologies of other nations.
Although several great reformers came out of this nation, very few have an interest in a true relationship with God. Many have walked away from the church, even while claiming to believe in God. Churches have become stagnant and are dying on a steady basis.
