Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! Romans 11:33
There are people in this world that have doctorate degrees in fields that most people could not even begin to understand. What they know and understand is often way beyond the comprehension of most people. They are seen as very brilliant and full of amazing knowledge; some will even see them as very wise. As wise as they are, there is still a lot of things that they do not know or understand.
In Romans, Paul points out how great of a depth are the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God and that one cannot search all of His judgements and ways to the point of understanding them clearly.
The world sees some people as extremely wise and full of knowledge. There are some who lived thousands of years ago that are still considered among the wisest of all time. Yet, in all the knowledge and wisdom of the greatest of people, there are many things that they still cannot explain.
Scientists are still trying to understand how life came to be. They can say what energy can do, but they cannot fully explain how it came to be. Psychologists are always trying to figure out how to help people cope with troubles in their lives.
God, in His infinite wisdom and understanding, is able to create life and sustain life. He is able to control the molecules of every living and non-living thing on the planet all at once.
With all of that amazing knowledge and wisdom, God can use situations in life to bring about His will. He can work every situation out for the good of those who trust in Him.
As much as you know and understand, there are many more things that you do not know or understand. Each day you have an opportunity to get to know God more and more. You will never be able to completely understand everything about God but can grow daily in seeking Him as you seek to know and understand God and His ways more.
Put your trust in His wisdom and knowledge. Allow God to lead you in how to live your life here on this earth. It is His wisdom that allowed you to be saved from your sin.
Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will seek God’s wisdom and knowledge; that you will trust God’s wisdom and knowledge in your own life; and that you will know how amazing God really is.
