preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him. Acts 28:31
Having confidence while speaking is difficult for many. They do not believe that they know enough about a subject to be able to stand up and talk about it. Or they are afraid of possible questions that may come along the way. As a result, many are afraid to speak up about something that they care about, allowing others to do all of the speaking.
Luke finishes the book of Acts saying that Paul, while under house arrest, would preach about the kingdom of God and teach about Jesus with all confidence, and that no one stopped him.
Throughout the world there are scientists and philosophers who are boldly speaking what they believe. Statements are made with full confidence, even though they can be shown to be wrong by others.
Being led by the gods of this world, many will easily claim that God is not real, Jesus never rose from the dead or that God is horrible and not loving. These claims are made with full confidence that they are right and everyone else is wrong, having no doubts in their mind.
While the world is bold in making their claims, many believers are scared to talk about God or Jesus. They feel that if they do not have a biblical degree in the bible, they cannot talk about God or Jesus accurately.
All it takes is one to take time to read God’s word and study it to be ready to talk about it. One’s personal experience with Jesus is enough to talk about Him. As one does this, God can lead the believer in what to say through His Holy Spirit so that one can speak with full confidence that the Truth is being shared.
You have a truth in your life that others need to hear about. God has given you the ability to know His word and know Jesus as Lord and Savior. With what you know whether a little or a lot, you have something that you can boldly speak about for all the world to hear. Have confidence that God will guide your words and tell others about God’s kingdom and the Lord Jesus Christ. Share boldly what God has done in your life so that all the world can learn about Jesus.
Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that God will strengthen you to talk about His kingdom and Jesus; that God will give you the confidence needed to speak His Truth; and that many will come to know Jesus through your speaking.
