I am happily married (for 31 years) with eight children (ages 8-28 years), and 4 wonderful grandchildren. I love Jesus and studying the Bible. I love to talk about Jesus and the Bible. I pray that God will use these words to help you grow closer to Him and more like Jesus. May God bless you as you read these thoughts.

What is the significance of the verse of the day mentioned in the article dated March 14, 2024?
In this verse, Matthew 6:3, Jesus is telling the disciples not to do good deeds in order to be seen. Good deeds are to be done out of love for others, not to make oneself look good. Doing something to look good is pride, which is a sin against God.
I trust this helps your understanding of this verse.
Have a blessed day in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
