Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20
Mindsets and standards of people all over the world are being changed on a daily basis. Standards that were once common and accepted by the majority are now being rejected as bad. Standards that were once rejected as bad are now being accepted as good. The rapid pace of these changes appears to be picking up in the world.
Isaiah says that there is to be woe for those who call evil good, and good evil, and for those exchanging darkness for light and bitterness for sweet.
The world, not knowing God, lives in sin. This is to be expected since they do not acknowledge God nor follow Him. In this way, the world is doing only what is natural for them to do as they follow their father–Satan.
Sadly, this same type of thinking and actions has crept into the church. Many, who claim to be believers and followers of Christ, are now accepting and promoting things that go against God’s commands. They are calling evil good and good evil.
Murder of babies (abortion) is now being called good and healthy for mothers. Adultery is called good that one can have multiple lovers. Alternate sexual living is called true love, regardless of God’s condemnation of it. Calling something sinful and harmful is now being considered as hateful and unloving.
Words are being changed to be able to call evil good, and good evil and exchanging light for darkness. Although they appear to be getting by with this now, there will come a day of judgement. Every person will be held accountable.
Believers need to stand strong and true upon God’s word and call things as they are.
No matter where you live, you can look around you and see how the world and many in the church are calling evil good. Do not be caught up in the lies of this world. Seek to have God reveal His truth to you and to expose the lies and deception of the enemy. Do not be afraid to speak God’s truth in every situation. What God calls good, call good. What God calls evil, call evil. Be separate from the sin of this world.
Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will know what God calls evil or good; that you will only speak God’s truth in every situation; that God will give you strength to obey His commands; and that God will give you wisdom to know good and evil for what they are.

Yes Tom, that is the prayer needed for our times. That all would be able to distinguish good from evil. Especially the church. So many lines are being blurred, and confusing so many people. 🙏
Amen!
