Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it. Psalm 139:6
Scientists are always seeking more knowledge about many different things. At times something is discovered or understood better that is really amazing and wonderful to learn. More often, there are many things that people want to know about or understand that they cannot understand. There are often more questions about things than there are answers. The knowledge desired is too wonderful for people to attain to it with the abilities that most have, even the greatest of scientists.
David had just written how God knows everything about him. Now he writes that such knowledge is too wonderful and high for him to attain to it.
Every person has people that know them at least some. Every person also has some people that know them a lot. That person knows what one likes, how one talks, reacts, chooses things, does for fun, does for work and much more.
Even though people can know a lot about someone else, they cannot know absolutely everything about that person. No one can be with a person one hundred percent of the time, nor can anyone fully know what one’s thoughts are without being told.
God created every person on this planet. Every one of the billions of cells in each and every person that has ever lived was made by Him. He knows the physical part of people more than they can possibly know themselves.
Along with that God is everywhere at all times. He knows every action and every word spoken or thought of every person. God knows every person perfectly and still loves each one!
Knowing that God knows each person so well is mind boggling to any person. This means that God knows what is best for each and every individual person. It is also too wonderful to fully understand or comprehend.
God knows you perfectly well, so much more than you know yourself. Realize how great this is that God really knows you. He can know what the best path for you is to take in this life to give you the abundant life Jesus promised those who follow Him.
Put your trust in God to lead and guide you on the perfect path to heaven. Stand amazed that God knows you so well and still loves you and wants to be a part of your life.
Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will realize how much God knows you; that you will know how much God loves you, despite your faults; that you will give God praise for knowing you; and that you will trust God with your whole life.
