Exodus 26:33 A Curtain To Separate

Hang the curtain from the clasps and place the ark of the covenant law behind the curtain. The curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place. Exodus 26:33

Walls and doors are placed up to separate rooms and places. They are put in place to keep control of who may go in from one location to another. Access is limited to only certain people.

Some of these places may have nearly unlimited access to anyone, while others are extremely limited to only a few privileged people. If the wall is removed, it opens up to anyone and everyone.

A large curtain was made and was hung separating the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place, holding the ark of the covenant, in the tabernacle.

There are places that have limited access to only a few highly privileged people. Many people will often desire to enter those places, but never will have that opportunity.

The Most Holy Place in the tabernacle was where God would reside above the ark of the covenant. Only the high priest could enter that area and then only once a year. And when he did enter, it would be with the fear of death.

In other words, most people could not enter directly in to meet with God. Years later when Jesus died upon the cross, that curtain between those two places was torn in two. God opened the doorway for all people to have access to Him directly day or night.

Many people feel that they cannot come before God because of their sins. They feel that He is too great and holy for them to meet with Him.

Jesus paid the price for every person’s sins so that every person would have direct access to the Father in the Most Holy Place. That curtain or wall is no longer there.

God loves you and wants to meet with you directly so much that He allowed His Son Jesus to pay for your sins. This gives you direct access to Him anytime, anywhere you are.

The curtain/wall between you and the Father has been torn in two opening the way.

Do not allow fear or past sins to keep you from going to God. Seek God for His love, protection, guidance, healing and anything else needed. He has a door that is open around the clock anytime you need to meet with Him.

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will know you have access to God the Father; that you will meet with God on a daily basis; and that you will listen and obey God’s directions in your life.
