There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. Luke 12:2
Privacy is something that is a cherished item in the hearts and lives of many people all over the world. People want to be able to do or say what they want in private and nobody else will know about it.
Walls are built up and high level security is set up around people in order to maintain their privacy. These walls are both physical and virtual to keep other people from seeing what is going on in private.
As Jesus warned the disciples about the Pharisees, He told them that there is nothing hidden or concealed that will not be revealed and made known.
No matter how much people attempt to conceal and hide something that is bad, there is usually a time that it is revealed. The news is constantly full of cases of revelation of ‘good’ people getting caught up in some concealed wrong-doing. This is found in the people in the church just as much as people not in the church.
People feel that just because nobody is physically around and they are alone, that no one will know about what they are doing. This type of thinking forgets that God is everywhere and see and knows all things. God has the ability to reveal what is going on in secret. Every believer must know and remember that there is nothing God cannot see.
God does not reveal sin in order to destroy a person, but to draw him towards Him. When sin is revealed, many will confess and repent of it. Only when it is revealed can God work in the life of a person to destroy the power and destruction of the sin.
You may feel that what you are doing in secret is hidden and no one knows about it. God knows about it and will be willing to reveal it, if you choose to continue to live in secret sins. Hiding secret sins will only bring about embarrassment and death to you later.
If you do not release them to God now, God will eventually break it open to everyone revealing what was being done. Allow God to break the hold those sins have over you when done in secret. God only wants what is best for you, allow Him to work in your life and change it.
Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Savior; that you will give God all your secret sins; that you will allow God to change your life; that you will allow the Holy Spirit to guide you to living a holy life for Him; and that God will not have to do a revealing of anything bad in your life.
