This morning just as my shift finished I was brought into the office with my top two bosses. Along with them was some HR personnel. I was then given notice that I was being laid off from the job due to financial cuts.
At first I was very shocked because for the last several months the yard I worked at was the top producing for the company in the country. I was given a severance package.
As I drove home I cried out to cried asking why. After a little bit I felt God tell me to just trust Him. I then remembered this mornings blog on remembering what He has done.
God has never left me or let me be destroyed. I had been having some very bad struggles with my boss for the last few months. It felt like he was trying to get rid of me. Both my wife and I feel that this is God’s way to close one door in order to open another door.
I do not know right now what is in store for me, but I know my God will never leave me not forsake me. I know that God has something better in store for my family and I.
I ask for you to pray with us for God’s direction and favor; that God will open the right door and close all others; that I will know the correct door to accept; and that God will provide for my family as He has done in the past. Thank you and may God bless you!
Praying that God will show you clearly the right door when it opens.

You are right to focus on what God has done for you. None of us know what lies ahead – and He is preparing each of us for a new walk. Times are uncertain – but with Him in charge they are also exciting. I will gladly join with you and pray that He clearly shows you where His footsteps lead.
