Pray for Montserrat
Montserrat is a small island country in the Caribbean. In the late 1990’s a series of volcanic eruptions nearly destroyed the entire nation. Nearly half of the island is off limits to people because of the high level of volcanic activity.
The evangelical church on the island is steadily growing, though many are becoming just nominal believers, not really sharing the gospel message. Survival has become the focus of life, rather than living for God and doing His work.
Many have still not recovered from the extreme volcanic activity that occurred in the 90s. As people work to survive, believers need to learn to reach out to others with the gospel message and build His kingdom in this tiny nation.
