The United States of America has a rich history in Christian belief. Founded with the belief that worship of religion should be free for everyone; the nation has since gone through a lot of turmoil with that concept.
Christianity used to be a solid bedrock of the nation but is now often put in line with other beliefs. Due to changing beliefs, many believe that one can worship many different gods and still be worshipping the same God. Islam is quickly growing across the land as good. Although Christian in name, very few understand what true discipleship is and what it means to follow Christ with one’s whole life. Denominations, once trusted, are often shunned. Being a true Christian is often considered hateful, even though the majority claim it.
Freedom is the greatest desire of the people, freedom to do whatever one wants. Sexual promiscuity is prevalent at all ages and sexual orientation is often confused while people search for identity and purpose. Gender change is promoted and stopping it is considered hateful.
Drugs and sex trafficking are at extremely high rates. Corruption in government levels allows for these and other crimes to be committed with no real consequences.
Throughout the land, there are small pockets of revivals of people coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. People are hungry for truth and are searching for it in any way that they can.
