Traced: Human DNA’s Big Surprise

Nataniel Jeanson, the author, has a B.A. degree in molecular biology and bioinformatics, and a PhD in cell and developmental biology. With his studies over the years, he was able to look at DNA and trace it down through history, going all the way back to Noah and his sons from the Bible.

He begins with very basic information and then continually builds upon it. Using direction, he then works at tracing where mankind begins life and how mankind spreads throughout the world. Using many different sources, he is able to show historically how people moved, but then he shows it also with DNA. Certain DNA threads show up in people and can be traced throughout different areas of the world.

Ultimately, he is able to show how all of mankind came from Noah and his three sons, using this evidence and evidence from the Bible. Although the evidence is not perfectly perfect, it does show a lot of evidence that cannot be refuted or denied that man did not evolve, but grew from each other.

This book can be very complex to read at times. However, at the end of each chapter, Nathaniel does put a short page describing in regular layman’s terms what he had just wrote about. Throughout the book, he refers to several hundred pictures or graphs to help the reader understand and see what he is saying. All of his information is also available online, and he makes much more detailed information available to those who would like to research it more in detail.

I felt that this book was very interesting overall to read, though at times, difficult to fully understand. Most of the terminology used is in normal words everyone can understand, it is just the extreme details of DNA and putting all that information together is complex.

If you are interested in how mankind spread around the world from the time of Noah until today, I highly recommend you read this book. It also gives a very convincing argument against the belief in evolution and shows both DNA and archeological evidence against it.
