Pray For Nigeria
Nigeria is a nation in which there are many believers throughout the nation. With massive outreaches, Christianity grew at an extremely rapid rate. Although the growth rate was excellent, it created the problem of lack of discipleship and spiritual growth. Believers tend to mix their tribal beliefs with Christian beliefs. Their lives are not matching the biblical description of a believer.
Another challenge the believers face is lack of books on being a believer and discipleship. Many of the ministers of Nigeria have written books, but often just on prosperity and healing. There is also a lack of Christian bookstores to make the needed books available.
One way that the message is made available is through radio. People will often listen to the short-band radio to hear messages and teachings on the bible.
