Pray For Netherlands
The Netherlands has turned its back on God, despite having a history of belief in Him. Many churches have been torn down or converted into bars or mosques. As a result, there are few regulations concerning drugs, prostitution, euthanasia and abortion throughout the country.
Church attendance may have around 15-20% of the population in service on any given Sunday. As late as the 1970’s, there was an average of about 60% in service on Sundays. Every church, including evangelical churches, are declining or closing their doors on a steady basis.
Islam is steadily increasing with the huge increase of immigrants coming into the country. Nearly one-third of the population is made up of immigrants. This makes up a major part of the least evangelized people.
Points to pray:
Hearts of believers to be on fire for God
Open hearts to hearing about Jesus
Believers to be a witness
Breaking of bondages to sin
Churches to be rebuilt
