Pray For Malawi
Malawi is a nation that is facing many serious challenges. It is a nation that has very high poverty, while have a large population growth. The nation’s debt is very high, preventing it to be able to do what is needed to be done. Sickness and death from AIDS have taken a toll upon the population and age levels of the people.
One of the blessings of Malawi is that it has remained a stable and peaceful country among many nations that are at war. The government leaders take a strong stand against corrupt practices and allow for Christianity to grow and spread freely. While Christianity is allowed, Islam is beginning to spread rapidly among the people.
Various organizations are in the country spreading the gospel message. Getting the printed bible is difficult and very expensive, and many do not know how to read. Church leaders need wisdom in getting the gospel out and providing needed medical care and food for the people.
