Pray For Costa Rica
Costa Rica has had many people come to be believers in the evangelical movement. The church has done an excellent job at winning people over to the Lord. However, many of those who have become believers have not ever been discipled in what it means to be a believer and how to grow in the Lord and service to Him. Many people are just believer in name only or have fallen away.
The Catholic church is very large in the nation, however most who attend are just nominal and not really following their beliefs.
With nearly two thirds of the people being under the age of 30, alcoholism, drugs, violence and immorality are common. Many churches try to focus on reaching the youth. Missionaries come in and set up ministries and then hand them over to the locals to keep them going.
