1 Peter 5:7 God Cares For You

casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

People often feel lonely and as if no one cares for them. Going to large parties and being around lots of people will still often leave people alone. Instead of focusing upon others, most people are focused on themselves and their own problems in life. Feeling alone, many do not feel as if there is anyone that they can go to about their own personal problems in life. Anxiety builds up and fear captures their heart, bringing them down.

Peter closes out his letter telling the people be humble and to cast their cares upon the Lord because He cares for them.

In a world of feeling all alone it is difficult for a person to know how to deal with the troubles of life. Dealing with those troubles on their own becomes the norm. People will often turn to drugs, entertainment or suicide to try to cover up and deal with the pain in their lives, not knowing where else to turn too.

As that is done, all that occurs is more anxiety and more troubles fill their hearts and minds. Peace and comfort are nowhere to be found.

Believers will also have a lot of trouble in this world. It can be overwhelming and pull one down without the right focus. Just as the world cannot deal with the troubles completely on their own, the challenges can be overwhelming for the believer.

Becoming humble and recognizing that one cannot overcome the troubles alone, believers are to take and put their burdens upon the Lord. God cares, in a way that no one in this world will ever care, for each and every believer. He sees every trouble and knows how to best deal with it and can bring peace into the heart of the believer.

Troubles and pain will come into your life as long as you live upon this earth. They can become very ominous and overwhelming. Do not try to deal with them on your own, but take them to the Lord. Allow God to guide you and lead in through the difficulties and pain of this world. He cared enough about you to die on the cross for you, He will care enough to pull you through hard times. In the end you have eternal life to look forward to.

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will go to the Lord with all of your troubles; that God will help you remove all anxiety in your life; and that you will know how much God cares for you.
