Psalm 55:22 Giving God Your Problems

Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22

There is not a person on the earth that does not have at least one type of problem in one’s life. Those problems vary as much as the sands on the seashore. Looking from the inside, those problems appear extremely large and often nearly impossible to deal with. Others may see the problems of someone else as very small when compared to their own. The size of the problem is really a matter of perspective, who is looking at it.

David says to cast the burden on the Lord and be sustained by Him, because God will never let the righteous be moved or shaken.

People struggle with how to deal with difficult problems in their lives. Most people get extreme anxiety and worry about the situation trying to determine what to do or not do. Some will throw in the towel and give up, shutting down, refusing to move forward in life because the burdens that they are bearing.

Instead of worrying and losing sleep over a burden in life, one needs to cast it onto the Lord. This casting is to throw it on the Lord, getting rid of it as fast as possible for God to deal with.

As the believer casts the burden on the Lord, God fills the believer with a hope and a peace that the world can never know. It is having trust that God will deal with it and direct the steps of the believer in the right way and at the right time. He will give the believer the strength needed to get through the time of difficulty or how to remove the burden. Believers will continue on the path towards heaven and not be moved.

You will have times in which you will have some burdens in your life that appear to ominous and impossible to overcome. Do not give into those burdens or be crushed by them. Throw them on God to help you deal with them. Seek His Holy Spirit to guide you in overcoming those problems.

Trust that God will either remove those problems or help you through them as He sustains you in His will. Stay on the path that God has for you as you continue on your journey through life towards eternity in heaven.

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will cast your burdens upon God; that you will trust God with your problems in life; that you will know God’s sustaining power; and that you will not be moved on your walk with God.
