Romans 1:14-15 Are You Eager To Spread The Gospel?

I am obligated to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome. Romans 1:14-15

Any person who has really good news is always eager to pass it on to others around him. Those who have good news that can help others are also eager to pass it on to anyone and everyone that they can.

Car salesmen often seem very eager to sell a person some new car. To the salesperson it is the best thing on the market and everyone needs it right now.

Paul, in his letter to the Romans, tells them that he is obligated to everyone, regardless of who they are. He is very eager to preach the gospel to everyone in Rome.

All over the world people are seeking for and desiring life, a long life. Very few actually want to die. The sad part is that the answer to eternal life is available, but many do not get to hear about.

The person who has heard the gospel and accepted it, believing in Jesus for forgiveness of sins and gaining eternal life, now has the greatest news of all time. However, many believers do not pass that information, that great news on. They hold that great news to themselves, not wanting to sound preachy or pushy.

Since the believer has the greatest news of all time, he should be very eager to pass that news on, to allow every person a chance at having eternal life. Each and every day the believer will have opportunities to tell someone about Jesus.

Doing this is showing the greatest love to a person that can be shown. Not telling a person about Jesus is showing hatred towards that person.

Every day you get opportunities to talk to various people. What is the first thing that you want to talk about?

Allow God to put His love in your heart for the people so that you will desire and be eager to tell them about Jesus. Despite all the important things that can be talked about in life, nothing is more important than the salvation of a soul.

Be eager to tell others about Jesus. Seek opportunities to tell more and more people about Him. The more people you tell about Jesus, the more people can choose to follow Him and have eternal life.

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Savior; that you will have God’s heart of love towards all people; that you will tell as many as possible about Jesus; that you will be eager to tell people about Jesus; and that God will save many people through your message.
