God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning–the sixth day. Genesis 1:31
All over the world there are places of great beauty in nature. Great forests, trees, lakes, rivers, wild animals, mountains, valleys, and an endless list of other things of great beauty in nature. People will travel the entire world, just to see some of these locations of great beauty. It causes a person to stand in awe of how great an area is.
As many people view these places, they also believe that all of these great places happened only by chance and that there is no God behind it all. They believe in random chance in life.
When man enters the picture of this world, the things are not as great looking. Mankind has destroyed a lot of locations of natural beauty. They tear down and build houses and cities on it, they do not take care of it. In the end, man makes things second rate…at best.
God made everything that is and can be seen. In the beginning, when God made this great world, it was considered very good. God only makes the greatest and the best. This can be seen in locations around the world to this day.
Man was also created in perfection and was very good, until man sinned and fell away from God. However, God made a way for man to be restored, created new again. In the same way God created this great world, He also creates new men and women when they begin to follow Jesus.
As God is creating a person into a new person in Jesus, there will be tough times of molding and shaping. It is not always easy, yet it is what is required to be created new. Yet, through it all, God is doing something that is very good. He does not do anything bad.
During the times that are rough, you need to know that God is still at work at creating you into a new person. He will not do a bad job as He works on changing you.
If you are willing to follow Jesus and fully trust Him, in the end you will be very good. God will not mess up His creation. Only man destroys. God creates for life and beauty, not sin and destruction.
Trust God to do a very good job with your life.
I pray today that you will know Jesus as your Savior; that you will allow God to create a new person out of you; that you will know that God only does what is best; and that everything will be worth what God gives you in the end.
