I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ. Philemon 1:6
Partnerships are something that is used all over the world. It is two or more people, businesses or organizations that work together. People partner with each other to build a business. Businesses partner with other businesses to build each other up.
In a partnership each person or entity involved will bring something that the other needs. Together more can be done than when separate and alone. One partner can be strong in an area the other is weak in, thus strengthening each other.
Although there are many people who are willing to partner with others to build up better, there are also many who do not want to partner with others. This is often seen inside of churches.
Many people in churches and even whole churches, refuse to partner with others to build up God’s kingdom. The refuse to be partners with others because they do not believe exactly the same. Often they differ a little or a lot on some doctrinal belief. One church may use instruments, while another does not believe in their use. One may believe in speaking in tongues, while another does not. These things are seen in both churches and individuals.
Every person and church needs others to help be stronger. No one should work completely alone. Every one needs someone else’s help.
The church, the body of Christ, is made up of people who are individuals, yet, they are to build each other up. Each one can build each other’s faith in God. They can lift each other up when one is down. They can guide each other in God’s word and truth.
As you partner with other believers, you can build someone else up and they can build you up. In this way it can deepen your understanding of what Christ has given you. It can help you understand more of who God is and how He works.
Each person has his own story to tell about what He has learned from God. Be willing to partner up with others to share your story and build them up. As you partner with others, more of this world can be reached for Jesus. And you will also be strengthened in your belief in God.
I pray today that you will know what Jesus has given you; that you will partner with other believers in Jesus; that you will work to build others up in Christ; and that you will be deepened in your faith in God.
