This morning is the time that the world celebrates the birth of Jesus. I want you to remember why Jesus came to the earth, why He was born and lived on this earth. His whole purpose was to bring forgiveness and salvation to every person on this earth.
Regardless of how the world sees Jesus or Christmas or the holidays, you can focus on God. God showed His greatest love by sending His Son to the earth, so you could be saved and have a relationship with Him. Jesus and salvation is the greatest gift you could ever receive.
As you give and receive gifts this morning, remember the greatest gift. Remember the reason for giving gifts today…love. Love is the purpose of Jesus coming. Love is the reason for Jesus dying. Love is the purpose of Jesus rising from the dead. Love is the purpose God wants a relationship with you today.
When you give gifts to others, give them out of love, not obligation. And as you do, share the greatest gift of all time…Jesus. Make Jesus the center of your life and the celebration of any holiday.
