The Pharisees though Jesus was saying he was God or was equal to god, but as a devout Jew Jesus never had the intentions of feeling equality with his God, the God of Abraham, and more than once he said to others they should come to know the only One True God, his heavenly Father, without Him Jesus could not do anything.
The Pharisees accused Jesus because of their own wrongful interpretation of Jesus his words and acts, which made them jealous, and therefore had to look for acceptable accusations for their Jewish members.

You say “It is the amazing ability of God to become flesh and dwell among as John records. ” but this would make Him not always being the same and worse would make of Him a very cruel being, having waited such a long time before faking His death (because God can not die) and having us still suffer so much after He set up this masquerade, so called for saving us, while He could have done that straight ahead in the Garden of Eden at the time of the first human beings.

Also His Words become then very doubtful, though God claims to be a Being of no lies. He more than ones declared Jesus Christ to be His only beloved son, though when He is Jesus Himself He would be telling lies, also when Jesus says God is higher than him, because God is always equal and the same to Himself.

Jesus was already in the Book of life, the same as Abraham, Isaiah, Jeremiah and others were before they were even born. In God’s head and in God’s promises, in God His Word Jesus was already there before Abraham was born.

If all the people who say ‘I am’ would be God, then there are lots of people running around on this globe God.

In many cases when Jesus says “I am” he replies to a question if he is so and so, and then often not only with saying “I am” but continues to declare who he really is or why he does such things as healing etc..

In the verses you mention, it is not said that Jesus is God. Read them carefully:
“who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;” (Col 1:15 ASV)

Did Jesus create the Earth?

“The firstborn of every creature: for by (Jesus) were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all things were created by him, and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead…” (#Col 1:15-18). This is typical of those passages which can give the impression that Jesus actually created the earth.

1. If this were true, then so many other passages are contradicted which teach that Jesus did not exist before his birth. The record in Genesis clearly teaches that God was the creator. Either Jesus or God were the creator; if we say that Jesus was the creator while Genesis says that God was, we are saying that Jesus was directly equal to God. In this case it is impossible to explain the many verses which show the differences between God and Jesus

2. Jesus was the “firstborn,” which implies a beginning. There is no proof that Jesus was God’s “firstborn” before the creation of the literal earth. Passages like (#2Sa 7:14) and (#Ps 89:27) predicted that a literal descendant of David would become God’s firstborn. He was clearly not in existence at the time those passages were written, and therefore not at the time of the Genesis creation either. Jesus became “the Son of God with power” by his resurrection from the dead (#Ro 1:4). God “hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten thee” (#Acts 13:32,33). Thus Jesus became God’s firstborn by his resurrection. Note too that a son standing at his father’s right hand is associated with being the firstborn (#Ge 48:13-16), and Christ was exalted to God’s right hand after his resurrection (#Acts 2:32) (R.V.mg.); (#Heb. 1:3).
3. It is in this sense that Jesus is described as the firstborn from the dead (#Col 1:18), a phrase which is parallel to “the firstborn of every creature” or creation (#Col 1:15) (R.V.). He therefore speaks of himself as “the first begotten of the dead…the beginning of the creation of God” (#Re 1:5; 3:14).

You may not forget that Jesus was the first of a new creation of immortal men and women, whose resurrection and full birth as the immortal sons of God has been made possible by the death (shedding of the Lamb’s blood) and resurrection of Jesus (#Eph 2:10; 4:23,24; 2Co 5:17). “In Christ shall all (true believers) be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming” (#1Co 15:22,23). This is just the same idea as in Col. 1. Jesus was the first person to rise from the dead and be given immortality, he was the first of the new creation, and the true believers will follow his pattern at his return.
You saying that Jesus is God create a huge problem for us. Because than Jesus was not always fully correct in giving his answers, like telling his heavenly father had given him the authority; But when Jesus is God he is the Authority and has full authority; Such phasing of Jesus makes him not very trustful (when he is God) but worse take away all the hope in the resurrection of man, because than there is still no proof that a man of flesh and blood can stand up from the dead. (Therefore you take all our hope away, whilst the Bible is clear that there would be such a resurrection … and that those who believe Jesus is the son of God – like I and many of my brethren do – would be partakers of the Kingdom).

4. The creation spoken about in (#Col 1) therefore refers to the new creation, rather than that of Genesis. Through the work of Jesus “were all things created…thrones…dominions” etc. Paul does not say that Jesus created all things and then give examples of rivers, mountains, birds etc. The elements of this new creation refer to those rewards which we will have in God’s Kingdom. “Thrones…dominions” etc. refer to how the raised believers will be “kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth” (#Re 5:10). These things were made possible by the work of Jesus. “In him were all things created in the heavens” (#Col 1:16) R.V.). In (#Eph 2:6) we read of the believers who are in Christ as sitting in “heavenly places.” If any man is in Christ by baptism, he is a new creation (#2Co 5:17). By being in Christ we are saved by His death (#Col 1:22). The literal planet could not be created by being in Christ. Thus these verses are teaching that the exalted spiritual position which we can now have, as well as what we will experience in the future, has all been made possible by Christ. The “heavens and earth” contain “all things that needed reconciliation by the blood of (Christ’s) impalement” (#Col 1:16,20), showing that the “all things…in heaven” refer to the believers who now sit in “heavenly places…in Christ Jesus,” rather than to all physical things around us.

5. If Jesus were the creator, it is strange how He should say: “…from the beginning of the creation God made them…” (#Mr 10:6). This surely sounds as if he understood God to be the Creator, not he himself. And if he literally created everything in Heaven, this would include God.

“All things were made by him” (#Joh 1)

Through Christ’s resurrection, He was the “firstfruits” of a whole harvest of people who will be made immortal through his achievement (#1Co 15:20), “the firstborn” of a new spiritual family who will be given God’s nature (#Col 1:18) cf. (#Eph 3:15). That God created and accomplished the physical creation by His word was an obvious Old Testament doctrine (#Isa 55:11). By the time John was writing his Gospel [somewhat later than the others], the idea of believers being a new creation in Christ would have been developed in the early ecclesia. The Greek translated “made by…” occurs often in John’s Gospel. It clearly describes how the Gospel of the Lord Jesus ‘made’ new men and women; lives were transformed into something new. The phrase is used in the immediate context of John 1: “to become [‘be made’] the sons of God” (#Joh 1:12), in that grace and truth came [‘were made’] by Jesus (#Joh 1:17). “All things” therefore refers to the “all things” of the new creation. Note how Jesus came unto “his own things” (#Joh 1:11) (RVmg.), i.e. to the Jewish people. “All things” therefore comfortably refers to the “all things” of the new creation- which is just how Paul uses the phrase (#Eph 1:10,22; 4:10; Col 1:16-20). Quite simply all of us, in “all things” of our spiritual experience, owe them all to God’s word of promise and it’s fulfilment in Christ.

The woman was taken out of the man, rather than both of them being created at the same moment (as the male and female animals were). This pointed forward to how Christ would be “before all things,” i.e. the rest of the church (#Col 1:17), in the sense that he was the firstfruits of the new creation. Christ is “before all things, and by (Gk. ‘out of’) him all things consist (as Eve was taken out of Adam, consisting of his rib)…who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that among all things (cp. Adam among all the animals) he might have the pre-eminence” (#Col 1:17,18) A.V. mg.). Because the “all things” of the new creation are made out of Christ, he has pre-eminence amongst us.

For the other reference to the Bible you seem to miss a very small but important letter, several trinitarians want to miss out when it becomes convenient for them.

We are told that there is The God, the heavenly Father Who called Jesus His beloved son. In case Jesus is God that would be then God telling a lie, twice recorded in the Bible, Him misleading the people standing around the river Jordan and those standing on the mount of figuration.

Through the sacrificial offering of the son of God, the relationship with God and mankind is restored and we too can come up to God as Children of God.

The Lord Jesus is not the second person of a triune God. The word “triune” is unscriptural; so is the thought. You seem to forget that Jesus was first loweer than angels, though God is, was and alwasy shall be the Most High. After his resurrection Jesus was not only made higher than angels, he was also taken into heaven to come to sit next to God (not on God His throne, but at the right hand of God =/= at the right hand of himself like you seem to promote). There in heaven Jesus represents us as the mediator between God and us. In case Jesus is God he can not be a mediator between himself and us, but then talks directly to us.

A person also can not be a high priest for himself, but Jesus was a high priest for God, the Bible tells us. Do you think than he was playing a highpriest for himself and when he called unto God asking why God had forsaken him, that this was just one other plan in faking so many things, like saying not to say thanks to him or to pray to him but to God, when he himself would be that God?!?

Also the apostles know very well that it was not Jesus who created or constructed everything. They had come to know their Jewish master who prayed to the same God as they did and followed the same books as they did. They also knew that Jesus did not do his own will, but the will of his heavenly Father, his and their God.
In case Jesus is God then he would always have done his own will and then there was no reason to mislead us by crying to God and saying to himself that His will had to pass.

“saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” (Lu 22:42 ASV) (So according to your idea Jesus being God, Jesus expressed the hope that his will was going to be executed?! did God have everything in control then?)

When Jesus is God he again mislead people by saying he was not doing his own will but wanted only to do the will of God – but being God that will would be his own will. Also saying that he coould not do the thing by himself, when he would be God would again be the so maniest lie. Such ideas of Trinitarians, take all the credibility of Christ and God away.

It is Jesus who became the first one of the New World or the New Creation. Therefore he was also called the second Adam.

“45 So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam [became] a life-giving spirit. 46 Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven. 48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.” (1Co 15:45-49 ASV)

For the next verses you want to find me a proof that Jesus would be God, lets see what those really say:

“12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. 14 Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right [to come] to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. 15 Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie. 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.” (Re 22:12-16 ASV)

The word “alpha” is the name for the first letter of the Greek alphabet, whereas the term “omega” designates the last letter of the Greek alphabet. Hence, in itself, the title “the Alpha and the Omega” conveys the idea of the start and the finish or completion of a thing aka not exactly of God. The personage who is so designated would, therefore, be viewed as the beginner of certain things and the one who brings these things to a successful conclusion, as such we still use that expression to denote the founder and director of a project or company, when it would end its existence when the part of that person is taken away.

Based on what is revealed in the Hebrew Scriptures, the title “the Alpha and the Omega” would certainly fit Jehovah God. At Isaiah 55:10, 11, for example, we are told: “Just as the pouring rain descends, and the snow, from the heavens and does not return to that place, unless it actually saturates the earth and makes it produce and sprout, and seed is actually given to the sower and bread to the eater, so my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly do that in which I have delighted, and it will have certain success in that for which I have sent it.”

Like expressed in tohter places in the Old Testament, whatever Jehovah God expresses will be brought to a successful finish! All His Plans shall come to excecution. Whatever Jehovah God, as the Beginner, sets in motion by His Word (yes: His Speaking) always is brought to a successful end. Like that He spoke and Jesus came into being. (By an angel God’s Word came as warning Mary about the coming child.)

You seem to forget that Revelation 1:8 states: “The Lord God says, ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega, the One who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty!’” (The New American Bible) Clearly, the reference here is to the Most High God Jehovah.

While Jesus Christ is referred to in the previous verse as “coming with the clouds,” the words of Revelation 1:8 and the surrounding verses show that he could not be “the Alpha and the Omega.” In the Scriptures, only the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ is spoken of as “the Lord God” and as the “Almighty.” Jesus Christ even refers to his Father as “my God.” (John 20:17; Rev. 3:12) Nowhere in the New Testament you shall find a place were Jesus says he is God, or even that all the things he does is by his own power.

According to Revelation 1:1, the revelation was given to Jesus Christ by God. Hence, we should expect the words of the Almighty God to be quoted in the account.

Revelation 22:13, which states: “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” might become difficult to grasp when people forget who is talking and about whom is been spoken. It is evident that a number of persons are represented as speaking in this chapter of Revelation; verses 8 and 9 show that the angel spoke to John, verse 16 obviously applies to Jesus, the first part of verse 17 is credited to “the spirit and the bride,” and the one speaking in the latter part of verse 20 is manifestly John himself. “The Alpha and the Omega” of verses 12-15, therefore, may properly be identified as the same one who bears the title in the other two occurrences: Jehovah God. The expression, “Look! I am coming quickly,” in verse 12, does not require that these aforementioned verses apply to Jesus, inasmuch as God also speaks of himself as “coming” to execute judgment. (Compare Isa 26:21.) Malachi 3:1-6 speaks of a joint coming for judgment on the part of Jehovah and his “messenger of the covenant.”

The title “the Alpha and the Omega” carries the same thought as “the first and the last” and “the beginning and the end” when these terms are used with reference to Jehovah. Before him there was no Almighty God, and there will be none after him. He will bring to a successful conclusion the issue over Godship, forever vindicated as the one and only Almighty God.​—Compare Isa 44:6.

Even when you take it to be part of Jesus it is sound to understand that Jesus is the beginning of the New Covenant and as such the beginning of the new creation. But he is also the last of that New Covenant, him being the finishline of the Plan of God, succeeding to the will of God on the whole line, and by offering himself to God (and not to himself like you or trinitarians think) opening the gate to that new world where he is entering as the first one, but be also the last one, because when he shall have judged all people (the living and the dead) after a 1.000 years after a last test for those born in the millenium, Jesus shall hand over his Kingdom to the rightous Owner, God. (And not handing it over to himself as you suggest in your thinking when Jesus would be God.)

Jesus is also being the last one because his sacrificial offering is the most complete offering. We pay already for our sins by our death. (Normally no other punishment should or would come over us.) But by the ransom of Christ Jesus we are liberated from that dead. And there is no other offering necessary…. Jesus is the last offering which God appreciated to receive as the last unique offering for whitewashing all sins and making the seal of the New Bond. (of which Jesus is then the alpha and the omega).

Being the eternal God, Jehovah has at all times been the Almighty. (Ps. 90:2) and the Most High. Remember as I mentioned before Jesus was not at all the most high. The Bible tells us even that he was lower than angels but placed higher after his act of offering himself as a lamb of God.

As shown in other parts of the book of Revelation, Jehovah God will display his all-powerfulness at the time that his Son destroys all opposers of his sovereignty.​—Rev. 16:14; 19:13-16. At that momemn of destroyment Jesus who began (alpha) his journey to save humankind (first by the promise of God in the Garden of Eden, then in the words by the prophets, to become into existence after Abraham, Jeremiah, Eliah a.o. as the seed of David (one can not be a seed of decendant of somebody when one existed already before that person.)

An other occurrence of the title “the Alpha and the Omega” is found at Revelation 21:6. In the following verse, the One who applies this title to Himself says: “Anyone conquering will inherit these things, and I shall be his God and he will be my son.” Since Jesus Christ speaks of himself as a “brother” of these conquerors, it is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ who is referring to Himself as “the Alpha and the Omega.”​—Compare Matthew 25:40; Hebrews 2:10-12.

In the verses you bring forward to me, the angel who was instrumental in presenting the revelation to the apostle John spoke. (Rev. 22:8, 9) Then, after the quotation that begins with Revelation 22:12 and ends with the words of verse 15, we find the statement: “I, Jesus, sent my angel.” (Rev. 22:16) Since the context does not necessitate our attributing the words of Revelation 22:12, 13 either to the angel or to Jesus, they could have originated with another speaker. Consistent with the rest of the book of Revelation, “the Alpha and the Omega” must be the Almighty God. He is the One who comes in the capacity of a judge to reward and to punish individuals according to their works.

The angels who “minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation” (Heb 1:14) have been instructed to pay Jesus homage  —  “let the angels of God worship him.” (Heb 1:6).

The honouring or paying respect from the angels to Jesus is not making Jesus into God nor angels worshipping Jesus as their God. They and we should look up at the image of God, the son of God who was sent by God.

“in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn [upon them].” (2Co 4:4 ASV)

We living in this world of the living and the dead, received the Word of God (the Speaking of God) through the transmission and reproduction of God’s Word in the Book of Books, the Bible should be able to hear God speaking also to us, becaus Jehovah God also spoke to us directly through His son. We are told that the world were we may look forward to is created by God Who created the world in the beginning, though it will all belong to the Son at the end, him becoming the king of God’s Kingdom on earth. The verses you quote mention that this son perfectly mirrors God, and is stamped with God’s nature. He holds everything together by what he says — powerful words! After he finished the sacrifice for sins, this man who was declared to be the son of God, took his honored place high in the heavens right alongside God, far higher than any angel in rank and rule.

It is not by his own power that Jesus got were he is now. But by his submission to God, sustaining all things by his powerful word, having by himself effected the purgation of our sins, he came to sit down on the right hand of Majesty on high, i.e. sitting next to God and not on God His throne. In case Jesus would be God he naturally would sit on the throne of God. But the Bible tells us clearly he is not.

“and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Mt 3:17 ASV)

“And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my Son, my chosen: hear ye him.” (Lu 9:35 ASV)

“And his lord commended the unrighteous steward because he had done wisely: for the sons of this world are for their own generation wiser than the sons of the light.” (Lu 16:8 ASV)

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (Joh 3:16 ASV)

“who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.” (Tit 2:14 ASV)

“how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Heb 9:14 ASV)

We should believe God Who more than once indicated that this person born in Bethlehem we consider the saviour is the sent one from God and God His only begotten beloved son. It is by believing in that man of flesh and blood who gave himself to safe all mankind that the grace of God can come over us.
We not only have to believe in Jesus but also into the one Who has sent Jesus, namely the Elohim Hashem Jehovah.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.” (Joh 5:24 ASV)

“And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing [unto him]; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.” (Heb 11:6 ASV)

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (Joh 3:16 ASV)

Hopefully this answer made some matters more clear; and give you the idea why I am convinced that we have to believe the Words of God and the words of Jesus and accept Jesus as the man of flesh, bones and blood who as a servant of God, saved us by offering himself as a lamb of God, paying the ransom for our sins.

“Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, And he shall declare judgment to the Gentiles.” (Mt 12:18 ASV)

“while thy stretchest forth thy hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of thy holy Servant Jesus.” (Ac 4:30 ASV)

“even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Mt 20:28 ASV)

“who gave himself a ransom for all; the testimony [to be borne] in its own times;” (1Ti 2:6 ASV)
