Acts 9:22 Even The Worst Can Be Changed

Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Messiah. Acts 9:22

With the high level of media in the lives of people, many doubt what they see or read. Things in the media can be manipulated to say anything a person wants it to say to go along with his agenda or desired results.

As this occurs, it creates a world of doubt as to what is happening or can actually happen. People begin to doubt everything, because everything can be manipulated.

As Saul was heading to Damascus to kill or put believers in prison, Jesus got a hold of his attention and changed him. Afterwards Saul worked hard at proving that Jesus is the Messiah, baffling all of the Jews around him.

It is often very difficult for people to look at some person and believe that it is possible for him to change for the better. The person lives in such a way that there does not appear to be any hope for him at all.

This is a person that lives to sin, hate God, hate Christians and live for himself only. Sometimes, even the world does not like this type of person. Believers will often write this person off as hopeless and many won’t even attempt to witness to him about the love of Jesus.

The truth is that every person is just as bad as he is in the eyes of God when it comes to sin. Every person is a sinner, needing forgiveness and salvation.

God is willing to forgive anyone and everyone of all sins when the person repents.

If Saul, who was directly fighting against Jesus, can be saved, anyone can be saved. No believer should write off any person as hopeless.

At one point in your life you were a sinner needing to be forgiven and saved. You rejected Jesus, either openly or without knowing, but still needed Him. You were no different than the most vile sinner ever.

Someone took the time to be a witness to you and you chose to believe in Jesus and be saved. If there was hope for you, there is also hope for others.

Do not give up on any person because they are so harsh against God or Jesus. God is willing and can save any person on this earth. Give everyone a chance to believe in Jesus.

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Savior; that you will be a witness for Jesus to everyone you meet; that you will seek to show your enemies who Jesus is; that you will give every person a chance to believe in Jesus; and that God will use you to build His kingdom.
