“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:7
In life there are many things that can be difficult for people. Some things are more difficult for some people than others. Some things are virtually impossible for some people to ever accomplish.
The reasons for things being so difficult for a person can widely vary. Roadblocks to accomplishing something could be lack of knowledge, lack of skills, physical handicaps, lack of finances, lack of resources, lack of motivation and more. Being able to push through all the difficulties to accomplish something is very difficult for most people.
God asks the question of whether anything is too difficult for Him. As He asks this question, He also points out that He is the God of all mankind…the Creator.
Often people question God’s abilities and get fearful because of a difficult situation in their life. They are up against a wall that appears to have no way around it or way to get through it. They begin to live in fear, not trusting God, forgetting what God has already done in the past and can do again in the moment.
Every believer must remember what God has already done in history and in his own life. It starts with the idea that God created this earth. Every mountain was made by Him. God knows and understands every difficult passage in this world.
Yet, God has made ways where there did not appear to be a way out. Look at the Israelites as they came to the Red Sea with a great army after them. God suddenly opened up the sea and made a way. Jesus provided food for thousands with only a little fish and bread. Jesus rose from the dead. He released chains and opened a prison door for Peter.
You will have difficulties that get in your way in this life on this fallen earth. Problems will rise that appear to be unsurmountable. Instead of fearing the obstacles, face them head on.
Do not forget that God is the God of impossibilities. He is the one who can and will make a way for you to travel. If God can create the heavens and the earth and everything in them out of nothing but His word, He can create a way for you to accomplish what is necessary. There is nothing too difficult for God to do.
I pray today that you will know Jesus as your Savior; that you will know God’s power in your life; that you will not fear any obstacle in your life; that you will trust God to make a way for you; and that you will follow God’s directions for your life.
