You do realize the implications of this verse is… if our land needs healing (and it desperately does) it is the fault of God’s people. I have oft thought of this and it has changed how I pray and seek the Lord. It’s a “look in the mirror” verse
I agree. We have sometimes (often) not been the witness we should be. Not loving, full of grace and mercy, kind, gentle, patient—-in other words—be like Jesus. I have to constantly ask myself if I am really being like Jesus. Thank you for reading and the comment.
