Revelation 11:15 He Will Reign Forever

“The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 11:15

The vision John is seeing is one in the future where God takes out His wrath upon all mankind. He destroys the nations. At this point God is now taking direct control and ruling over the entire world. Voices are heard rejoicing that the kingdoms of the world are now the kingdoms of Jesus.

Although this looks at the future ruling of Jesus over the entire world, it can be current rulings of Him over smaller kingdoms. The hearts of people are small kingdoms. They are ruled by one person, the individual himself.

The devil has deceived people into thinking that they are in control of their lives and can do whatever they want. The world says you have the rights to whatever you want. As king of yourself, you reign. Most people live like that, as though the world revolves around them.

As a believer, you must not be living like that. You did not start anything and you cannot finish it. Only God can do that. Jesus is supposed to be the one who reigns and is in control.

Allow Jesus to be the ruler of your kingdom–your heart and life. Let Him be the one to choose what you will say, do, or think.

When you choose your path on your own, you will mess up. It will lead down false paths. It will bring about pain and suffering, and ultimately death.

When you give kingdom control to Jesus, He will bring about life. You do not have to wait until you step into heaven to allow Jesus to reign. Give Him your kingdom now and let Him reign forever and ever.

I pray today that you will allow Jesus to be the ruler of your life; that you will trust Jesus for everything in your life; that your life will be one of praise to God; and that Jesus will reign supreme over your life.

  1. Wow! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It’s so true. The Bible tells us go trust in the Lord with all of our hearts (Proverbs 3:5) but we trust Him with half of it and lean on our understanding because of the experiences that we have or our degrees and so on. I pray that God will help us all to submit full and just allow Him to reign in everythin. God bless
